single tenancy architecture
A single-tenancy architecture is a software architecture offered by hosting providers in cloud computing. Servers are also referred to as bare metal servers in this context.
In this architecture, each individual customer is served by a software application and a supporting infrastructure. In terms of servers, the single-tenancy architecture is comparable to a dedicated server, which forms its own private cloud. In this server architecture, application programs are installed for individual clients. Only he can access and use them. In a single-tenancy architecture, the customer acquires a copy of the software that is customized to his specific needs.
In contrast, in the multi-tenancy architecture, one instance of software serves different clients.
