Applets or widgets are mostly small utilities that are transmitted over the Internet and are used to animate objects or perform calculations.
Applets are integrated into the graphical user interface and cannot be operated independently. The term applet is a neologism of application and snippet, which stands for snippet. Often applets are written as a hypertext module in Java and are interpreted by Java browsers that used the Java Virtual Machine( JVM) for this purpose. Applets work in the client 's web browser and can interact with the user without exchanging data with the web server.
Applets, which develop activities on computers even without user knowledge, do not have access to the hardware. Applet viewers can be used to control applet activities.
