New OS
Nova OS is a smartphone operating system from Palm and the successor to PalmOS or Garnet OS.
Nova OS is not a further development of the PalmOS core, but a completely new development. It is based on Linux, it can use the existing PalmOS applications and targets applications in the business and private environment. On the one hand, it supports business-oriented applications like those of the Blackberry, and on the other hand, multimedia applications like those of Mac OS X for the iPhone.
Nova OS is designed for mid-range smartphones and supports smartphones with a QWERTY keyboard, which is located under the touchscreen and can slide out of the smartphone when needed.
