class based weighted fair queuing (CBWFQ)

Class Based Weighted Fair Queuing (CBWFQ) is a weighted queuing method based on traffic classes.

This queuing method, which can be used with the Resource Reservation Protocol (RSVP), is a combination of Weighted Fair Queuing (WFQ) and Custom Queuing (CQ). It is controlled by forming traffic classes that are sorted by ingress interfaces or by Access Control Lists (ACL). Within the traffic classes, the WFQ procedure is used. Priority Que uing (PQ) can also be taken into account with this procedure.
