advanced peripheral bus (AMBA) (APB)

The Advanced Peripheral Bus (APB) is an internal bus of System-on-Chips( SoC) for connecting low- power peripherals.

The APB bus belongs to the AMBA architecture buses and is optimized for low consumption and a simple interface. It can be used in conjunction with standard buses such as the Advanced System Bus( ASB)and the Advanced High-Performance Bus( AHB).
