primary link station (SNA) (PLS)

In the SNA architecture, the Primary Link Station( PLS) is the link station that provides link control.

The Primary Link Station (PLS) initiates communication with other stations or with Secondary Link Stations( SLS). Each link has only one Primary Link Station. Unlike Primary Link Stations, Secondary Link Stations can only exchange data with the Primary Link Station, but not with other SLS stations.
