one-tier architecture

The one-tier architecture is a simple monolithic architecture model that, unlike multi-tier architectures, only works with one layer. The 1-tier architecture works with a thin client with which simple presentations can be displayed. The application runs on the server in the backend, where the databases are also stored.

In addition to the simple one-tier architecture, there is also the two-tier architecture and the three-tier architecture.
