mini UHF connector

The mini UHF connector dates back to the 70s. It is a miniaturized UHF connector that can be used for high frequencies up to 2.5 GHz.

It has an impedance of 50 ohms and can be connected to coaxial cables with a diameter of 5 mm, such as the RG-58 or RG-223. Due to the screw cap (3/8"), the mini UHF connector has excellent RF characteristics, such as a standing wave ratio( VSWR) of 1.25 to 2.5 GHz. The dielectric is Teflon or other plastic with comparable properties. The insulation resistance is about 5 giga-ohms, the insulation voltage ranges up to 1,000 V, the rated voltage range is up to 350 V, and the temperature range is from -50 °C to 85 °C.
