low high (LH)

Low High(LH) is a compression method for images that works according to the LZ method. With LHarc, which is the name of the first version, individual files and also several files can be combined into an archive.

The compression rate depends on the type of file and the data redundancy. So that the compressed files and archives can also be executed by third parties, the algorithm used for the compression can be packed with the archives.

LHarc is a relatively antiquated compression program that is hardly used anymore in Europe and the USA. The file extension of LHArc is *.lha.
