high performance radio access (HIPERACCESS)

Hiperaccess involves broadband radio links in the connection area with transmission rates of 25 Mbit/s.

This wireless point-to-multipoint( P2MP) link operates in the extremely high frequency ranges between 40.5 GHz and 43.5 GHz. It is suitable for illuminating larger areas, for ports and airports, universities, research facilities, hospitals and much more. The operating range extends up to a distance of 5 km.

Hiperaccess has been standardized within the ETSIBRAN project, Broadband Radio Access Network ( BRAN), and supports modern network technologies. The technology can be used in conjunction withATM, UMTS and IP networks.
