In the case of a website, a human-machine interface provides functions and interactions that allow users to immediately access, navigate, and interact with the website and obtain the desired information about a product as quickly as possible.

Front-ends are closer to the user and characterized by a wide variety of functions. There are the search aids and search algorithms for optimized search, links that lead to additional information and testimonials, user guides and navigation that lead the user to the desired product without many intermediate clicks. In online business, front-ends are also used in online marketing to analyze customer behavior.
