distributed MIDI (DMIDI)

Distributed MIDI (DMIDI) refers to activities for the development of a MIDI- via- Ethernet protocol that is to be standardized by IEEE. This protocol will allow any audio application to communicate with each other via virtual MIDI ports (Musical Instrument Digital Interface).
