The term audio blogs is predominantly used for weblogs whose posts are vocal. Music blogs with vocal commentary and dialogue, on the other hand, are called MP3 blogs. In both cases, the works may be copyrighted and freely usable.
An audio blog is an audio clip that is posted to the blog in reverse chronological order using audio compression - MP3 file format, AAC compression, AC-3 audio compression, aacPlus, or other compression formats. The most recent post appears first. A podcast is when the audio blog is published in a syndication file format with RSS feed or Atom feed with the corresponding Internet address.
