Secoder
Secoder is the name for a smart card reader for Internet transactions, developed by the Central Credit Committee(ZKA) with the German banking industry associations represented in it.
The secoder can be used for secured transactions in online banking; on the one hand for online shopping and payment on the Internet, and on the other hand the cash card can be recharged via the secoder. It is suitable for home banking as well as for use in offices. The Secoder is connected to the personal computer via the USB interface, it has a firewall through which the cash card and authorization data are protected.
The manufacturer's models aretested for security and certified with the Secoder seal.
