RG-179 cable

RG-179 is a particularly thin micro- coaxial cable with a diameter of 2.5 mm, which can be used to transmit low power over short distances.

RG-179 has an impedance of75 ohms, the capacitance is 63 pF/m and the attenuation is 68 dB/100 m at the maximum transmission frequency of 400 MHz.

The inner conductor is a stranded wire of 7 x 0.1 mm consisting of silver-plated steel wire. The dielectric has a diameter of 1.55 mm and the shielding one of 2.0 mm. The sheath insulation is made of Teflon( FEP).
