PC6400

PC2-6400 is a DIMM module consisting of DDR2-800 or DDR3-800 memory chips. The relative clock frequency of 800 MHz is due to the DDR technology, in which the clock rate from the Front Side Bus ( FSB) of 40 MHz is utilized in the rising and falling clock edge. The resulting data transfer rate is 6400 MB/s with a 64-bit bus, which is why the memory block is called PC2-6400.
