web services management (WSM)

The Web Services Management (WSM) monitors and controls the Web services infrastructure based on the policies. These functions are supported by so-called WSM agents, which control the Simple Object Access Protocol ( SOAP) messages and trigger their own actions for forwarding, acceleration, orchestration, availability and security.
