vericode
The Vericode patented by Veritec is a matrix code for marking goods and services. The code field is square, as with the QR code and data matrix code. The Vericode has a data capacity of 500 bytes and a high readout speed.
The Vericode label has a high data density and can be very small. Compared to the Data Matrix code, the Vericode can be accommodated on 1/30 of the area. This is due to the density of the code pattern, whose structures can be adjacent to each other at a distance of 0.175 mm.
Just like the other 2D codes, the Vericode also works with an Error Detection And Correction( EDAC) for error detection and correction.
