triaxail loudspeaker

A triaxial speaker is a speaker in which a woofer(TT), midrange driver( MT) and tweeter( HT) are combined in one speaker chassis. The three speakers are combined to form a 3-way system. Similar to coaxial speakers, the midrange driver is located on the center axis of the woofer and the tweeter is located on another axis next to it.

Triaxial speakers are mainly used in car hi-fi. They are characterized by good performance data with sinusoidal power up to more than 200 W and high sound quality, which is guaranteed by the frequency range from 20 Hz to 21 kHz. Their surrounds are made of rubber and their diaphragms are made of polypropylene and, in the case of the tweeters, aluminum-coated.

Triaxial loudspeakers have a decisive advantage over other loudspeakers and speaker cabinets: the sound radiation is approximately point-like.
