systems center mobile device manager (Microsoft) (SCMDM)

Systems Center Mobile Device Manager (SCMDM) is a server software from Microsoft for mobile device management. SCMDM integrates mobile devices like cell phones, smartphones and PDAs directly into the Active Directory( AD).

SCMDM is easily administrated and has no own schema, but are similar to those for servers or workstations. The administrator can perform central updates, create user groups and activate or deactivate central functions of the mobile devices.

When running SCMDM, a virtual connection to the mobile device is established. The addition of new devices is possible after entering the e-mail address and authentication data.
