system under test (SUT)

The term System under Test (SUT) is used when a complete system with its software is tested for its correct operating functions.

The term system under test means that a test environment has been built for a system under test, with which the functionality, the application programs and the performance of the system arechecked. The latter may include benchmarks.

In System under Test, the system is occupied with the relevant programs and parameters, and the functions and program executions are determined and documented.
