Subscriptionless Mobile Networking (SMN) is service security in WPANs, anywhere stationary service providers and mobile data terminals communicate with each other.

SMN networking provides anonymity and secures user data. In the process, the device and IP addresses also change during SMN networking. Thus, with each new transaction, the addresses can also be changed. SMN-Networking is implemented in Bluetooth, the security relevant data like the public key of the communication partner and the used key types, are stored with the partner and the service in the SMN-enabled devices. However, the stored record is automatically deleted after a specified time or after a certain number of transactions.
