round robin interrupt
A round robin interrupt is an interrupt signal from a root hub in 100Base VG networks to a subordinate hub to interrupt the round robin cycle in progress. This returns control of the transmit right management to the red hub so that it can handle a higher priority transmit request.
During the round-robin cycle, a process within 100Base VG hubs, all input ports are cyclicallychecked for the presence of send requests or these are processed.
