The Network Address Translator, Protocol Translator(NAT- PT) is a network component that acts as a translator component for the data packets of the IP protocols in the IPv4 to IPv6 versions. Such components, which are usually located in routers, are used for migration between IPv4 networks and IPv6 networks.
