The IFMP protocol (Ipsilon Flow Management Protocol) is a proprietary protocol for the exchange of management data between ATM switches and supports the quality of service (QoS) between users and the ATM switch. The data transmission takes place with the IP protocol. The Ipsilon Flow Management Protocol is described in RFC 1953 from 1996.
