global grid forum (GGF)

The Global Grid Forum (GGF) is an association of companies and institutions that develops distributed data processing( DDP) and, in particular, grid computing. The GGF forum develops grid technologies and creates specifications for standardization. Among other things, the GGF has specified the architecture for building grid architectures.

In 2006, the Global Grid Forum (GGF) and the Enterprise Grid Alliance became the Open Grid Forum( OGF).
