gigabaud link module (FC) (GLM)

The term Gigabaud Link Module (GLM) was specified by the Storage Networking Industry Association(SNIA). It is a transceiver in a storage network that converts the electrical signals from the host bus adapter into electrical or optical signals for transmission.

Gigabaud Link Modules are not hot-swappable like the Gigabit Interface Converter( GBIC).
