fibre channel security protocol (Cisco) (FC-SP)

To increase security in storage area networks( SAN), Cisco has developed the Fibre Channel Security Protocol( FC- SP), which supports authentication for switch-to-switch and server-to-switch connections. This feature is designed to prevent unauthorized access to SAN devices and is part of Cisco's SAN operating system, SAN- OS.
