Contentnegation is the agreement of communication partners on transmission parameters such as formats and languages. In a communication connection between server and clients, these agreements ensure agreement on the interpretation of the content. In the Internet, the Hypertext Transfer Protocol ( HTTP) takes care of this agreement.
