Recommendation T.128 of the International Telecommunication Union(ITU-T) supports multipoint application sharing. This involves the control of audiovisual multipoint multimedia systems.

T.128 is part of Application Protocol Recommendations of Recommendations T.120 and defines the Application Protocol Entities that use Multipoint Communication Services( MSC) and Generic Conference Control (GCC).T.128 is a platform-independent protocol for application sharing, where two or more participants can share an application, jointly edit documents, or use collaboration tools. Application sharing is used in teleconferencing and web conferencing.
