Lynx

Lynx is a character-oriented web browser developed at the University of Kansas in 1992.

With the Lynx browser, documents can be viewed with a text terminal, although essential graphical features have to be dispensed with. In return, the text-based browser is faster, it is better suited for text searches and can be used as a spider, robot or crawler.
