F05 connector
The F05 connector is a fiber optic connector for polymer fibers. It is a simplex connector standardized according to the Japanese Industrial Standard (JIS) under JIS C5976. In theduplex version it has the designation F07 connector.

The dimensions of the F05 connector are according to IEC 1754-16 and the light transmissionis according to ANSI/ TIA/ EIA-568-A. It is black and suitable for polymer fibers with a fiber diameter of 1,000 µm. The F05 connector is used in TOSlink and in entertainment and homecabling.
