world wide node name (WWNN)

The World Wide Node Number (WWNN) designation is used in Fibre Channel (FC) and identifies a node computer, device or endpoint in a Fibre Channelfabric with a globally unique 64-bit address. The same WWNW address can be assigned as a Fibre Channel Name (FCN) to different ports within a network.
