super charge ion battery (SCiB)

Super Charge Ion Battery (SCiB) is a registered trademark for a conductive battery developed by Toshiba.

The SCiB battery uses a lithium titanium oxide anode and can be used for up to 15,000 charge cycles. The SCiB battery is extremely powerful, it has a high effective rated capacity, a short charge time of a few minutes and operates from temperatures as low as -30°C.

Due to its properties, SCiB batteries can be used in battery-powered vehicles and bicycles as well as in industrial applications.
