The Service Discovery Application Profile (SDAP) is a general Bluetooth profile that must be supported by all devices and is used to query neighboring stations for their services.

Service discovery by the Service Discovery Application Profile is the prerequisite for interoperability between different Bluetooth devices. Bluetooth systems use the SDAP profile to determine which services they can provide to partner stations.

The SDAP profile defines the Yellow Pages of the Bluetooth services in which all Bluetooth devices offer their services.
