project authorization request (IEEE) (PAR)

Project Authorization Request (PAR) is an authorization request with which a standardization project is initiated.

In such an authorization request, the scope of the project, the purpose and the contact points are defined.

A PAR project may be proposed by any member of IEEE- SA(Standards Association). Before a proposal becomes a PAR project, the draft may be submitted. Once it is proposed and approved, it can only be modified by the New Standards Committee (NesCom) Administrator.
