predictive analytics

Predictive analytics is predictive analytics. It is a technique based on business analytics( BA) that is used to make predictions about the future. Predictive analytics is about improving future decisions by management through economic relationships.

Predictive analytics uses predictive models that incorporate analytical data from data mining, as well as valuations and empirical data. This information is extracted using ETL(Extract, Transform, Load) processes and a predictive model is calculated from it. A key aspect that goes into these models is meaningful patterns and dependencies in data sets, as well as the variables of past events and their implications for the future. The results and their meaningfulness depend largely on the quality of the assumptions.

A decisive factor for predictive analysis is classification. Through it, data can be extracted according to predetermined rules and search words can be defined for document retrieval. The document search can be refined by semantic analysis.

Predictive analytics can be used to optimize marketing campaigns and website visitor behavior in terms of click-through rate and conversion rate. Other, everyday, industrial, speculative, risk, or production applications can be predicted with high probability by predictive analytics.
