The Multiple Image Network Graphics (MNG) is an animation tool for Portable Network Graphics( PNG), similar to an animated Graphics Interchange Format( GIF).

The MNG format supports certain control mechanisms for repeating image sequences, transitions from one image to the next, or blending images.

Multiple Image Network Graphics provides a lossless conversion of the Graphics Interchange Format (GIF) and includes data reduction by matching between images with identical image content.
