Multi Purpose Cables(MPC) are multipurpose cables that can be used as indoor cables and also as outdoor cables.
For primary outdoor cabling, they offer non-metallic rodent protection, longitudinal water tightness and UV resistance. In addition, they can be installed underground because they are microbe-resistant.
For indoor building cabling, they feature appropriate fire behavior with low smoke development without halogens, Low Smoke Zero Halogen (LSZH), and thus meet the requirements for FO indoor cables.
MPC cables are available as bundle cables with stranded bundle conductors and non-metallic tension element and also as cables with fixed conductors.
