The Mobile Phone Telematics Protocol (MPTP) is a telematics protocol that supports telematics solutions over GSM networks.

Developed by Benefon Corp, the MPTP protocol provides telematics commands that can be used in a wide variety of applications. These include MPTP sending information for location, tracking and routing to service centers and selected terminals. The MPTP protocol must be licensed from Benefon.
