Micro-interrupts are short-time interruptions that are triggered, for example, by a loose contact, short-time overvoltages or other short-time events.

Short-term interrupts lead to an increased bit error frequency in data transmission. In order to be able to detect the cause of micro-interrupts, measuring devices must be used in addition to the error frequency, with which the short-time interrupts can be detected.
