The Joint LevelInterfaceProtocol (JLIP) is a standard protocol for controlling video devices. Images and videos can be transferred and post-processed via JLIP. The JLIP protocol was developed by JVC and enables peripheral devices to communicate and exchange data with other peripheral devices. JVC has equipped camcorders, VCRs, video printers and other video peripherals with a J jack for this purpose.
