generic AV distribution profile (Bluetooth) (GAVDP)

Generic AV Distribution Profile (GAVDP) is another Bluetooth profile for the transmission of audio data and video data in streaming, in addition to the Advanced Audio Distribution Profile ( A2DP). In this constellation, Bluetooth distinguishes between the initiating Bluetooth device, the initiator, and the accepting device, the acceptor. The audio and video devices can be one or the other depending on their function.
