End User Policies are company guidelines for employees, which specify how to handle equipment and systems in order to avoid damage. Such end user policies can be given to each individual employee or published in the form of a notice.

End-user policies include the Acceptable Use Policies( AUP), which outline how to use corporate networks and the Internet, the Clean Desk Policies( CDP), which outline how the workplace should look when leaving the office, the Consumerization Policy, which includes the guidelines for the IT strategy Bring your own Device( ByoD), the Corporate Mobility Policy with the security guidelines, and the Social Networking Policy( SNP) for the use of social networks and posting.
