Document Transfer And Manipulation (DTAM) are specifications for services that are not telephony-oriented, such as fax or teletex, and in which three classes of service are defined: bulk transmission, document manipulation, and the combination of both. The specifications include the primitive functions for all classes of service as well as related communication functions.
