direct stream digital interchange file format (DSDIFF)

Direct Stream DigitalInterchange File Format (DSDIFF) is an audio file format for storing and exchanging audio data in the Direct Stream Digital, DSD format used for the Super Audio CD (SACD). It is an audio format from a sigma-delta converter with 1-bit conversion. The DSDIFF format is often referred to as the DSD format, or Direct Stream Transfer (DST) in the case of lossless compression.
