Digital Multimedia Broadcast Terrestrial/Handheld (DMB-T/H) operates in the UHF range between 470 MHz and 760 MHz and uses single- carrier as well as two-carrier modulation schemes, including Time Domain Synchronous Orthogonal Frequency Division Multiplex( OFDM), TDS-OFDM, Quadrature Phase Shift Keying( QPSK), and Quadrature Amplitude Modulation (16QAM, 64QAM). The terrestrial reception range is said to be 10 km further than with DVB-T, which is used in Europe. In addition, reception is said not to be limited even at speeds of 200 km/h.
