detect and avoid (UWB) (DAA)

To enable ultra-wideband(UWB) receivers to adapt to the radio transmission conditions, the detect and avoid ( DAA) mechanism was specified.

The DAA mechanism allows a UWB receiver to detect the frequency spectrum in its vicinity and adjust its receive parameters accordingly. This helps avoid interference from other radio technologies such as WiMAX. If a UWB device detects that the frequency spectrum is already occupied, then it can switch to a sub-band or exclude certain frequency ranges.
