designated transit list (ATM) (DTL)

The Designated Transit List (DTL) is a complete list of all IDs for the network nodes and optional links used to define the complete path across a PNNI peer group in an ATM network.

There is the DTL originator, which builds the initial DTL stack and represents the first switching system in the PNNI routing, and the DTL terminator, which represents the last switching system within the PNNI routing.
