consumer to business (C2B)

C2B or C-to-B is the abbreviation for consumer-to-business. It is an e-business term for electronic business relationships between end consumers (consumers) and companies (businesses). In this business model, private individuals sell products or services to companies.

C2B are often portals or communities where individuals seek contact with companies for the sale of their products. This is a special form of commercial relationship and contrasts with the usual way of doing business, where companies offer and sell their products to end consumers as in business-to-consumer( B2C). The Internet offers such an inverted business model, as a so-called bi-directional relationship is made possible online via portals and communities. This is in contrast to the classic one-way business relationship, which is a one-directional relationship.
